Because it's that time of year, the annual 2SER subscriber drive, there'll be 2 live Phantom Dancers this week, 12 noon Tuesday 18 Oct and 6pm Saturday 23 Oct - double the live 1920s-60s radio and TV swing and jazz. (All times +11 hours GMT)

On today's Phantom Dancer, you'll hear the Sydney swing band led by Dudley Cantrell from 1937 as well as rare 1930s broadcast excerpts from Count Basie, Hal Kemp, Kay Thompson and Mario Hutton

And for the Phantom Dancer Video of the Week see Laurel and Hardy from the 1931 film, 'Our Wife'

See today's play list and video of the week at Greg Poppleton's Radio Lounge: http://gregpoppleton.wordpress.com/2011 ... t-married/ ...and subscribe to 2SER
Greg Poppleton & his Bakelite Dance Band play 1920s & 30s hot jazz & swing for your club, festival, corporate event, wedding, all occasions.
