The Firehouse Five Plus Two Story (vol.1 - vol.2)

Postby RH » Thu Jan 10, 2008 11:49 am

Firehouse Five Plus Two were: Danny Alguire (trumpet); Ward Kimball (trombone, vocals, sound effects); Ed Penner (tuba, bass saxophone); John Lucas, Clarke Mallery, Tom Sharpsteen, George Probert (clarinet); Frank Thomas (piano, celeste); Harper Goff, Dick Roberts (banjo); Jim MacDonald, Monte Mountjoy, Jerry Hamm (drums).
Those cuts were recorded between 1949 and 1954. Enjoy.

Thank you so much!
I've seen mentionings of a "Vol. 3", but these two are already great. :-)

:bigband: :bigband:

Thank you so much!

Update:
The 3-CD version seem to have the same tracks, in the same sequence, just split up onto three CDs instead of two.
