I didn't even know my password anymore. And the problem is that I've changed my email several times so...couldn't get back my old account (Dan) so let's start all over again...Dan is back...he! stop protesting! It's that guy from Holland, Europe remember?

Where have I been all those years?..so nice of you to ask! I could say: in a witness protection program of the FBI or kidnapped by Bin Laden...the truth is...I never left you (at this moment the orchestra starts the tune of Don't cry for me Argentina )...just been busy...still working as a DJ en host of several radioshows back home (among them The Retro Club, a radioshow with a lot of oldschool R&R and swingmusic)...nice work if you can get it...

Anyway...I'm proud of you guys (and girls) that Anyswing is still in action! Keep up the good work!

Funny you mentioned the reggae collection...still have a lot of those I discovered (too many?) when I recently moved (another house) ...at that moment I wasn't that happy to be recordcollector..I needed another extra truck for the records...but on the radio the only musicshow I host is a swingshow nowadays (and a newsprogram).

But at the same time I realise I've been gone way too long...when I read the kind words of you all, I realize It was kinda rude of me...something happened with my computer back then...took a while...busy at work...took a few days off to watch the Sopranos series on dvd...and before you know it...I checked my calender and it's three years later...

We covered it live and one of our reporters yelled There's the winner, there's the winner...and ran too him for an interview...we were in the studio and asked him (still live on air) who it was...his answer:...I don't know...but strangely enough it's a white guy, kinda chubby too...our response: are you sure? There running like five of six guys from Kenia too who were supposed to win easy...long story short: our reporter was interviewing some guy who started in the familyrun and was very very slow...and missed at the same time the winner (and yes, he was from Kenia)

Our 'starreporter' is still embarressed when we mentioning it...
