There are two things there:
a big 'FREE' tracks playlist. These are full-length tracks, some of which can also be downloaded. They're free because the copyright owners are giving them away for free - so probably no Sinatra in there.
the actual tag radio (on top) (go to playback page)
You can't control what is coming up in this 'tag radio'. But it's something some people have tagged 'swing', and you can press "skip" or even "hate" if you don't like it.
You can also play artist radios, e.g. 'Music like Count Basie'.
Anyway:
this is an interesting service to discover new music
if you tag your music on Last.FM appropriately, the tag radio stations will become better
if you're an artist, add your music!
Drawbacks:
while last.fm literally has tons of music, it's mostly new 'popular' stuff. So not too much swing in there
some tags (e.g. Neo-Swing) havn't been used much yet, and therefore offer even less music.
It would be cool if some people would sign up (free), and start tagging some music with "Swing", "Neo-Swing", "Classic Swing", "Retro Swing", "Jump Blues", "Rockabilly" and so on. Maybe they'll then start adding more music when we make it into the top tags...
(A quick glance showed they apparently have one song by the cherry poppin' daddies, a dozen from squirrel nut zippers, one from the atomic fireballs, 20 brian setzer songs... that's very little, actually...)
