If you are going to be actually teaching Lindy, then shouldn't you already know music for it (because teaching implies you have danced for some time at least?)

Anyway, here are some songs off the top of my head:

- Exactly Like You - Carmen McRae
- Massachussetts - All Jazz Stars with Maxine Sullivan
- Four or Five Times - Joe Williams (with Count Basie)
- (Anything from the Ella & Basie album)
- Careless Love - Madeleine Peyroux
- Sunny Side of the Street - Peggy Lee with Benny Goodman (& his Orchestra)
- Knock Me A Kiss - BB King does a great version and so does Louis Jordan
- Let's Call The Whole Thing Off - Ella Fitgerald and Louis Armstrong

Good luck...
