I guess I should jump in here and express my opinion on leeching, since it's happened to me in the past few weeks, once here and twice at another forum. My position on leeching is simple: I don't do it, I will not do it, I've never done it and I will not tolerate it. "Nuff said!
If you find something on a blog or forum and you like it or want to share, the
answer is simple, just download it, zip it, uploaid it and post it. Too time-consuming you say? It certainly wasn't time-comsuming for the original poster!
If I see any of my links (and they're real easy to spot) onanother blog or forum , I report the offender to the moderator who usually issuues a warning to the offender and it he continues to leech, he will be banned, at least that how it is at the other fourm (and most forums I belong to). I occasionally delete my original link and re-up with a new link to my blog.
This appears to be very sensitive issue with most blogs/forums. Some tolerate it, even condone it. And others like me have no time for it.
Well, there, I got that off my chest. Thanks for listening!
