Spike Jones TV Show and Mini-Me Liberace

Postby phantom dancer » Mon Jan 24, 2011 4:12 am

Hello Phantom Dancers,

The official website for Greg Poppleton & his Bakelite Dance Band, 1920s & 1930s Hot jazz & Swing with Sydney's only 1920s & 30s-style swing singer continues to be upgraded

It looks better than ever, with more band pictures and more video clips

The address is http://www.gregpoppleton.com

Whether you get the new or the old site on your screen at the moment is up to Google. You see, the new site has a new root address. I've noticed in the past 12 hours that Google has taken down the new site to have a look at. But I'm sure it'll be back up again by tomorrow. It might even be up again, now, as you read. So check it out and check in evry now and agin to see how it progresses

If you get the new site, you'll see, on the Radio Show page of http://www.gregpoppleton.com, the latest Phantom Dancer play list for Tuesday 25 Jan and Saturday 30 Jan 2011, over 107.3 2SER-FM Sydney and live-sreamed via http://www.2ser.com/stream. Plus the latest Phantom Dancer Video of the Week

Every week I troll YouTube to find you something funny, weird, stylish and simply extraordinary, mainly from the 1920s - 1960s. Have a look through past posts to see other great Videos of the Week. There may be some favourite radio, film or TV you haven't seen in years

This week I've found a pretty good upload of a Spike Jones TV Show from 1957 with an ad for the 1958 Ford Edsel and featuring a mini-me Liberace

Enjoy!

Here's the Radio Lounge blog site for your enjoyment...
