This is a recording from 1939, from the movie "Keep Punching". The dancers are Whitneys Lindy Hoppers. This is actually a contest, so the individual dancers are competing with each other.

I'm looking for music for learning the Big Apple. A friend has asked me; he has learned the ('common'; I'm aware that it was usually called and not choreographed) steps and could teach them if he had suiteable music...

Anyone knows what song that is in that movie? If it's not just a band jam...
Anyone knows some song that is particularly well-suited for the big apple?

Thanks. Yeah, Lionel Hampton – Flying Home is the common choice for the choreography. It's not the song in the video though for all I know.
