We have a nice topic with the best album covers so why not the worst?
I'll start with a very disturbing sleeve from Waylon Jennings called Ladies Love Outlaws...I don't know but is this picture with such a title even legal nowadays? I guess he still thinks nothing wrong with it...he got a copy on his own website!

I noticed the best cd cover topic was on top again in this category...sorry, but I'm enjoying the worst cd cover even better...
So another great bad cover!
What to think of the the cover of Pat Boone's No more mr.nice guy?
Or what to think of the complete album? Pat Boone was always the big white hope for the music industry...his cover of tutti frutti was just plain stupid and embarrissing comparing to the original of Little Richard...but may americans bought his albums because he was white and Richard was black...
But Pat Boone is going hardrock? In a metal mood??? Come on! How ridiculous could you look at an album cover?

fantastic idea, Dan!
and I think that Millie Jackson's album cover has won, but can I try, Dan?
hahahahahhahahha and I think Marie and Susie (jazzluv) would agree with me... as much as Luiz too. _________________ [Swingin' HERE]

Now we have this topic going! Great...let's make another contribution with a jazzrecord from Herbie Mann...
Nudity sells,,that's a fact...but are there really women or men who enjoy an old ugly semi-nude musician on the albumcover?

I debated whether to post this to ruin my string of quality posts of good taste of interesting debate and quality music in this great forum. .. but this topic strikes a chord in me because I can only think of one album cover and because I just couldn’t get over it the first time I saw it.. Most covers posted here and elswhere on the Internet are humorous. The album cover I am talking about is just plain gross. Not gross and funny, just plain gross. ..and just so you know, I am not trying to set you up for some joke cover.
Since there is no mention in the original topic to stick only to the genres of music we post in this forum. I am just letting you know now that this album cover comes from the world of hardcore punk, which generally seeks to shock and disturb. The album belongs to New York hardcore punk group ISM, and their album called "A Diet for Worms," which was released some time in the 80's. The theme of the front and back cover of the album has to do with life and death. I don't have a image of the back cover, but it's like a scene from CSI, a corpse (which looks like it's been there for at least several months) with a rope around its neck in a dilapidated apartment.
The front cover has to do with "life" and this this *IS* the worst album cover of all time.
I don't want to ruin the quality of content in this forum, so I am just going to link to it rather than post it as an inline image.

My friend Hep: You have N° 1 by far. But I love kids and I ask myself: Who is the mot* fuc*er that built that!!!!
This cover should be alone in new topic:
"Unpleasant cover of all times"
Same as JuJu: thanks for discretion _________________ Rei do suingue

This topic isn't that popular as i would have guessed...hum...it's a pity...maybe it's just me who likes weird stuff (in a humorous way not the spammers way!)
There are some websites who are specialized in bad album covers so I'm not alone!
I have no idea what this album sounds like, and I'm afraid I don't wanna know! But look at the cover, the artist and ...the title! By request????
Somebody wrote about this albumcover elsewhere: how many request were there, really?
