her, Joerg... my question was: Someone can help me for the female singer?

Berni, You need of real player plugin.

here the mp3version

http://www.78-tours.net/mp3/EXC1011.mp3

The singer never tell the words "moods blue" (or I don't heard these words...) it's possibile that this tune is not "blue moods".
(And that it's not of joe liggins...)

The song is a Frank Loesser tune from 1949 called (Where Are You) Now That I Need You. Now, I am no expert on sweet dance band music so I can only help you enough to tell you that this record is by Eddy Duchin & his Orchestra. It was recorded in June 1949 and issued as Harmony 1058. This flip side, Through a Long a Sleepless Night, is also found on that website (http://www.78-tours.net/mp3/EXC1014.mp3) and is also not Joe Liggins! Again, I wish I could tell you the singer's name but I hope that will help track it down for you.

Good Luck,
